Taskify

Taskify is a multi-functional Single Page Application (SPA) designed to streamline task management, activity tracking, capitalization, and snippet handling. The tool is built with a focus on simplicity, efficiency, and privacy, making it a valuable resource for personal and professional use.

The snippet manager in Taskify offers two types of snippets:

Type-Specific Snippets: These support a single placeholder, which can be dynamically assigned a value from predefined column fields like description, SN, ID, or ticket. Users can copy the snippet with a single click, automatically populating the placeholder.

Generic Snippets: These support multiple placeholders in the $placeholder$ format. Upon copying, the app prompts the user to input values for the placeholders, ensuring seamless integration into workflows.

Taskify enables users to manage their data with ease, offering options to delete individual items, only tracked items, or all stored data. Upon logout, the app clears local storage entirely, ensuring a clean slate for future sessions.

Committed to privacy, Taskify is a purely client-side tool, with no reliance on cloud services or external databases. All data is stored in the browser's local storage. Additionally, users can export and import data in JSON format, following the work-tracker-[date] convention, to preserve and transfer data as needed. A dummy combination of user123 and pass123 can be used to test the tool.

By semi-automating repetitive tasks, Taskify enhances productivity while adhering to strict privacy standards.

Possible improvements: Each type can be visually distinguished by a predefined colour for better organization and clarity.
